Uptown 5K on the Runway

Uptown 5k on the Runway returns to Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE) for its seventh annual 5K run/walk on a real airport runway. The event takes place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, inviting participants of all ages to experience a unique course where runners take off from the runway instead of planes. After the run, entrants head to the Uptown 5K Village for refreshments and festivities.

Proceeds benefit the Trustbridge Hospice Foundation. Registration is free but required; the event is part of the Uptown community and aviation-themed celebration of compassion and a family-friendly atmosphere for volunteers and supporters.
