Event overview
The Viking 5K & 10K is scheduled for February 21, 2026, at Brian Piccolo Sports Park in Hollywood, FL (9501 Sheridan St, 33024). The event includes two race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A parking fee of $3.00 per car applies. The organizer lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards as part of the event program.
Course and logistics
The start area is on the northeast side of the park by the tennis courts and restrooms, adjacent to Cricket Field 2. The course is built from a short loop of 0.78 miles that is run as an out-and-back of 1.56 miles. The 5K uses that section two times and the 10K uses it four times.
