Event overview
The Medal Madness event takes place on March 7, 2026, at Piedmont Park in Piedmont, Alabama. The event offers the following distances:

Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use the same loop labeled as 0.78M. That loop is run as an out-and-back measured at 1.56M; the 5K completes the out-and-back two times and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a different 1.09M loop; the out-and-back is 2.18M and the Half Marathon completes it six times. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. The course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
