Event details
The USA Beach Running Championships take place on Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Cocoa Beach, Florida. All races are run on hard packed sand during low tide. The event includes the following distances:
- 5k
- 10K
- 15k
Each distance has a barefoot division and shoes are optional. Walkers are explicitly welcome in the 10K. All participants receive a themed running bib and a sea creature–inspired finisher's medal. A post-event awards presentation and a beach party follow the races; the post-event activities include live music, champagne, and mimosas.
Registration and location
Online registration closes Wednesday, May 6, 2026. Walkup registrations are available Saturday, May 9, at packet pickup. Listed entry fees are $35 for the 5k, $60 for the 10K, and $70 for the 15k; some prices increase after specified dates in 2025 and 2026.
