Event information
The USATF-Long Island 8K Open/Masters Para Athletic XC Championships is a cross-country championship held on November 9, 2025, at Bethpage State Park - Polo at the Park (Bethpage State Park Playground, Bethpage, NY). The race is held rain or shine. The competition distance is 8K. This event is for adults only; entrants must be 18 years or older on race day. Registration options include pre-registration and day-of registration with different fees for USATF Long Island members and non-members. The page lists pre-registration fees of $13 for USATF LI members and $15 for non-members, and day-of registration fees of $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Live online, email, and text results will be provided, and same-day finish-line photos are available.
Awards and team scoring
Championship medals will be awarded to the top three men and top three women overall. Medals are also awarded to the top three in each age group, including 19 & under and 5-year age bands from 20-24 up to 90+. Top three USATF teams will be recognized in Open, Masters (40+), and Senior Masters (60+) divisions. Team scoring is by combined time of scoring members. Required scorer counts are listed for each team category, and all team scorers must be registered members of the same team. Team registration sheets will be available on race day.
