Event overview
The USCSA Cross Country Ski Racing Festival is scheduled for January 24-25, 2026, at Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center in Granby, Colorado. The festival is presented by Colorado Mesa University and is the second annual USCSA cross country ski racing festival. The event is expected to include about 350 racers and will feature both college and junior competitors. Several regional colleges are listed as participants, including Colorado College, Colorado Mesa University, Colorado State University, University of Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, University of Wyoming, the US Air Force Academy, and Western Colorado University.
Races, registration and awards
Races include the following distances and formats:
- 15 km classic (collegiate and independent high school athletes)
- 7.5 km classic (middle and high school athletes)
- 3 km classic (middle and high school athletes)
- Skate sprint (collegiate and independent high school athletes)
Both race days will count as USCSA point races for collegiate racers. Race registration opens in December 2025. Middle and high school racers have no registration fee; college racers are charged $45 for the listed college events. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category for both female and male racers.
