UWSP Homecoming 5K

The 2025 UWSP Homecoming 5K Walk/Run takes place in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, starting and finishing at the Parkway Shelter in Schmeeckle Reserve. This scenic 5K event invites participants to run competitively or walk at their own pace through the natural beauty of the reserve. Hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Doctor of Physical Therapy Students in partnership with the UWSP Homecoming Committee, the race supports physical therapy research via the Marquette Challenge.

It also fosters community spirit during Homecoming Week, welcoming students, alumni, and locals. Participants receive a commemorative shirt, and post-race festivities include sponsor booths and opportunities to cheer on the UWSP football team. Dogs are not permitted on the course.
