Vermont 100 Endurance Race
The Vermont 100 Endurance Race, held annually in July in Vermont, is one of America's oldest 100-mile ultramarathons and part of the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning. The race features a challenging course with 17,000 feet of climbing over country roads, forest trails, and scenic views of the southern Green Mountains. It includes both a 100-mile and a 100-kilometer race, with about 450 runners and 70 horses participating, as it uniquely hosts a concurrent horse race.
The event supports Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sport, empowering people with disabilities through sports. The race is renowned for its well-marked course, excellent aid stations, and a supportive atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
