Vermont 100 Endurance Race
The Vermont 100 Endurance Race, held annually in July in Vermont, is one of America's oldest 100-mile ultramarathons and part of the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning. The challenging course features 17,000 feet of climbing over country roads, forested trails, and scenic views of the southern Green Mountains. The event includes both a 100-mile and a 100-kilometer race, attracting around 450 runners and 70 horses, as it uniquely hosts a concurrent horse race.
Known for its well-marked trails and excellent aid stations, the race fosters a supportive atmosphere. All proceeds benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski & Sport, supporting athletes with disabilities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
