Event overview
The Vernal Equinox multi-hour trail event takes place at Majestic Farm in Batavia, Ohio on March 27-29, 2026. It offers multiple timed events:

- 24 Hour
- 12 Hour
- 8 Hour
- Ruckers 12 Hour
Registration closes March 20. There are no refunds. Deferral options: 100% (90+ days), 50% (89-60 days), 25% (59-30 days), none (less than 30 days). RV hookups are available for a fee. A long-sleeve Rabbit shirt is available with a deadline to guarantee size.
Course, services and rules
The course is a 2-mile loop over wooded trails, meadows, and a gravel road, with a large barn at the start/finish area of each loop. The race is cupless: each participant receives a reusable cup and aid stations will not use paper cups; bowls and plates will be provided for hot food. Aid station food includes typical ultrarunning fare and hot items such as soup, grilled cheese, and coffee; vegan options are offered.
Free clean horse stalls are available for equipment staging and napping and can be shared. A 12-hour rucking division uses weight standards: over 150 lb - 30 lb dry; under 150 lb - 20 lb dry. An Athletes With Disability (AWD) division recognizes visually impaired and mobility impaired categories; the course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
