Event overview
The Veterans Day 5 takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids (2950 Monroe Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). This is the sixth annual running of the event. Proceeds and donations will benefit the Michigan Veteran Homes at Grand Rapids; Zero Day is serving as the event fiduciary and will donate 100% of event proceeds and donations to the Home after the event. The 2024 event raised $4,150 for the Home's Charitable Support Fund.

Logistics and course info
All events start and finish behind the Michigan Veteran Homes in front of the cemetery arches. Courses will be marked with arrows on yard signs and course maps will be available at event check-in. The SpartanNash Community Pancake Breakfast will be held in the Home's bistro and is complimentary for registered 5 mile and 5K participants and for volunteers; a $5 donation is requested for others. Volunteers receive a long sleeve t-shirt and complimentary entrance to the pancake breakfast. Parking is available behind the Home via Monroe Avenue or at Sunshine Community Church via Coit Avenue, with attendees walking to the Home for check-in and post-event activities.
