Veterans Day Fun Run

The Veterans Day Fun Run is scheduled for November 9, 2025 at Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling, Whirlwind Drive, San Antonio, TX. The event is a 5k fun run held to honor military veterans and benefits the Women Veterans of San Antonio. The course is a multi-loop route around Ranger Creek and the run will not be timed. Beer sample stations are set up so participants can sample beers as they complete each lap. Finishers receive a ticket and a finisher mug for a full beer pour. A Craft Root Beer division is available for under-21 participants, designated drivers, and non-beer drinkers. A food truck and other drinks will be available for purchase and complimentary fruit snacks are supplied. Several veterans groups are expected to be on site.

Registration and options

Registration is listed as $47.15 (prices noted as inclusive of mandatory charges). The event description also lists a $40 registration that includes a t-shirt, finisher medal, souvenir glass, beer samples, and a full beer pour. There is a virtual 5k option and a fundraiser-only registration that is free. There are no refunds. Transfers incur fees: $20 to change or transfer two days before the race and $30 the day before the race; no transfers after race day. Participants aged 16 and younger and those 70 and older receive an automatic 50% discount; combining discount codes will result in cancellation of registration.
