Event overview
The Veterans' Honor Run is a multi-format running event held November 8-9, 2025, in Heritage Park, Canton, Michigan. It is the fourth annual edition. The event raises awareness and funds for organizations that support veterans; Guitars for Vets is listed as a beneficiary and other beneficiaries are to be decided. Registration includes an event Sport-Tek CamoHex t-shirt and an event Sport water bottle.
Participation options and amenities
The event offers a 22-hour on-site ultra, a virtual 22-hour ultra, and a timed 5k race with prizes for top finishers. The on-site 22-hour option allows participants to complete as many loops as they wish during the 22 hours and to take breaks and resume as needed. Virtual participants may complete distance at their own location and submit tracking data for possible awards. Veterans may register free with a coupon code.
Packet pickup is available on Saturday and during the event. The event provides a staffed aid station with water, sports drink, coffee, soup, fruit, cheese, pizza, grilled cheese, PB&J, burgers, cookies, candies, pretzels, and other foods; organizers say they will try to accommodate dietary needs. Heated bathrooms are located near the aid station. Course loop passes are available near parking lots.
Course
The on-site course is a roughly one-mile loop around Heritage Park on a paved path with a short bridge and mostly flat terrain. A course map is provided by the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
