About the race
Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Greenwood, Arkansas, the 5K VFW 6527 Run/Walk for Warriors is a chipped-timed event organized by VFW Harris-Hannah Post 6527. Check-in runs 8:00–8:45 a.m. at the VFW Post on the Square (305 E Center St).
The starting point is the Coal Miner’s Memorial beside First National Bank. The course crosses Bell Road, passes behind the high school, then returns down Main Street to finish at Town Square. Medals for all, top-age-group medals, and T-shirts for the first 250 registrants.
