Victor Pack Burro Race
The Victor Pack Burro Race is a unique 7.3-mile pack burro race held annually in Victor, Colorado, during the historic Victor Gold Rush Days festival. The challenging course features 1,100 feet of elevation gain with varied terrain, including ups and downs, uneven footing, and scenic views of historic mine sites. The race starts and finishes on Victor Avenue in the heart of town.
Participants race alongside their burros, carrying prospector gear on pack saddles. The event offers finishers prizes, cash awards, and special recognitions like "Last Ass" and "Nicest Ass."
