WAWA Adventure Crawl
The WAWA Adventure Crawl is a unique urban adventure event held in Middleburg, Florida, near Jacksonville. Participants run either a 50k or a newly added 20-mile course visiting five Wawa stores across Middleburg, Orange Park, and Argyle Forest. Instead of a traditional race, runners team up and "check in" at each Wawa by purchasing an item, supporting local businesses.
The event emphasizes safety with strict traffic law adherence and limited crew assistance only at store locations. It features a low-key atmosphere with no high-tech timing, a 12-hour cutoff, and encourages bringing donations for a local animal rescue. The event supports Friends of Jacksonville Animals and limits participation to 60 runners. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
