The event benefits WAYS (Wraparound Youth Services) for Life, which serves youth in Brevard County ages 15-25. Services listed include case management, mental health support, food services, identification services, legal assistance, career pathways, secondary education help, life skills programming and an on-site GED FastTrack program. A sponsor and volunteer program are noted.
Registration fees are listed as $35 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under through March 27; race day fees are higher. Early packet pickup and registration are available the day before at Running Zone, 3696 N. Wickham Rd, and packet pickup is also available at the event location. Awards are planned for top finishers by overall, masters (40+), and age groups, plus a largest team prize. A free race t-shirt is offered to the first 150 registrants.
