Westbrook Strong 5K

The Westbrook Strong 5K is an annual running event held at Riverbank Park in Westbrook, Maine. Now in its 12th year, the race honors the memory of Matthew Rairdon and supports nursing scholarships at St. Joseph's College.

The event features a 5K run and a children's fun run called "Matt's Mile," divided into age groups for kids 10 and under. The course includes a water station, and well-behaved dogs are welcome, with special bandanas available for purchase. The race fosters a supportive community atmosphere and benefits Caring Unlimited, a local domestic violence resource center.
