WHAM Spring Dash
The WHAM Spring Dash is an annual 5K and 1K run held in Houston to support West Houston Assistance Ministries (WHAM) in their efforts to fight poverty and hunger. Participants can run along the scenic Westchase District trails, with a festive post-race celebration featuring food, drinks, activities, and a superhero costume contest. The event encourages community involvement, including options for early, regular, and late registration, as well as mailing packets for out-of-town runners.
Proceeds benefit WHAM’s programs that provide food, financial aid, employment services, and education to those in need. The event aims to promote health, community spirit, and social impact. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
