Wichita Clean Water 5K
The Wichita Clean Water 5K is a community running event held in Wichita, Kansas, starting and finishing at 2101 W Sim Park Drive near the Wichita Art Museum. The course follows scenic bike paths along both the north and south sides of the Arkansas River, passing landmarks like Cowtown, Keeper of the Plains, and Exploration Place, with a crossing over the "red bridge" back to the start/finish line. The event includes a 5K run, a junior 400-meter run, a kids' 100-meter dash, and a virtual 5K option.
All registration fees support building borehole wells and clean water education in African villages, making this race a meaningful fundraiser for global clean water access. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
