About the race
Wicked Fast Halloween 5K & 10K, run by the Tacoma City Marathon Association, takes place in Tacoma, Washington, starting and finishing at Dune Peninsula Park on the waterfront near Point Ruston. The flat, fast courses cover 5K and 10K distances, with a Kids 1K Run also offered. Runners pass by the Water Walk with the Giant Octopus Mural and finish back at Dune Peninsula Park, featuring a Spice Worm statue nod.
Halloween-themed medals and race shirts are included; costumes are encouraged, and a finish-line costume contest is held. A portion of proceeds benefits the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
