Wild Goose Trail Festival
The Wild Goose Trail Festival is a multi-day trail running event held at Wawayanda State Park in Hewitt, New Jersey. Taking place over a weekend in September, it offers a wide range of distances including a 1-mile kids run, 10K, half marathon, 50K, 50-mile, 100K, and a 100-mile ultra with a generous 36-hour cutoff. The course features diverse terrain such as doublewide trails, rolling singletracks, technical rocky and rooty sections, boardwalks, and some road segments, with an average elevation gain of about 112 feet per mile.
