The festival takes place over three days at Wawayanda State Park, with the main park entrance at 885 Warwick Turnpike. Distances offered include:

Friday features panels and a trail running film screening. Free camping is available to participants, pacers and crew Friday and Saturday evenings. The event partners with a mental health nonprofit, Bigger Than The Trail, which uses trail running to support free therapy.
Course, cutoffs and requirements
The course includes doublewide trails, rolling singletrack, technical sections with rocks and roots, wood plank boardwalks and some road. The 100 mile course lists 11,275 ft total gain and 11,239 ft total loss, averaging about 112 ft gain per mile. The 100 mile/36 hour format uses a 36 hour overall cutoff with one checkpoint cutoff at mile 92.5. Other distances have published cutoffs (for example a 12 hour and a 10 hour cutoff for some Sunday distances). Aid stations support the 100 mile course for the full 36 hours. All 100 mile and 36 hour participants must complete 8 hours of trail work or volunteering within a specified period or make a $100 contribution to the charity partner as an alternative.
