Wild Goose Trail Festival

The Wild Goose Trail Festival takes place at Wawayanda State Park in Hewitt, New Jersey, offering a range of trail running events from a 1-mile kids run to a challenging 100-mile ultramarathon. The festival spans three days in September 2025 and features diverse courses including doublewide trails, rolling singletracks, technical rocky and rooty sections, boardwalks, and some road segments. The 100-mile race has a generous 36-hour cutoff with only one checkpoint cutoff at mile 92.5, making it ideal for first-time ultrarunners.

Participants enjoy well-supported aid stations, free camping, and a vibrant community atmosphere with panels, film screenings, and family-friendly activities.
