Wood River Run

The Wood River Run 2025 is a 5k fun run/walk taking place in Richmond, Virginia, to honor the memory of Christian Wood, a talented kayaker who tragically lost his life in 2018. The event aims to raise funds for the Friends of the James River Park and the Christian Wood Scholarship Fund, which supports underprivileged children attending Passages Adventure Camp. Participants can expect a scenic course through the James River Park System, with options for well-behaved leashed dogs and off-road strollers.
