Event overview
The Warrior Trail series in northern Pennsylvania includes three trail running events near Lock Haven, PA: Dark Sky 220, Cherry Springs 110, and Wooly 50K. Courses route through Pennsylvania mountain terrain with significant elevation gain and fall foliage. The organizer lists approximate elevation totals: the 220-mile course with over 40,000 ft of ascent and the 110-mile course with nearly 20,000 ft of ascent. Participants may choose Supported, Self-Supported, Unsupported, or Team options. Supported runners may use crews and pacers with crew access at designated points. Self-Supported runners may cache supplies along the route. Unsupported runners must carry all required gear from the start. The course description notes plentiful water sources throughout. Registration is priced at $22 per person for all distances and styles, with a suggested fundraising commitment of $300 (and $100 suggested for the 50K). All proceeds support the Warrior Trail Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3). All participants must register, complete required questions, and sign a waiver.
