Wurst Tri Ever : Overview
The Wurst Tri Ever is the 14th annual Sprint-distance triathlon held at Landa Park Aquatic Center, 350 Aquatic Circle, New Braunfels, Texas, on Sunday, October 12, 2025. The event is USAT-sanctioned and is for adult athletes aged 18 and older. The scheduled triathlon distance is a short-course format with separate swim, bike, and run segments.

Categories include Triathlon Age Group, Triathlon Fat Tire, Triathlon 2-person and 3-person relays, and duathlon options (Bike & Run, Swim & Bike, Swim & Run). Packet pickup is set for Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the Aquatic Center Training Room in Landa Park. Registrants who register before October 1, 2025, are guaranteed a T-shirt.
USAT wetsuit rules apply by water temperature: wetsuits allowed at 78°F or lower; allowed but ineligible for awards from 78.1°F to 83.9°F; not allowed at 84°F or higher. Finisher medals are ordered about 1.5 months in advance and awards will be given to category winners. The event includes a post-race party with Kiolbassa Sausage and other food. Refund policy: 50% refund more than 14 days before the race (processing fees and USAT fees are non-refundable); no refunds or transfers within 14 days of the event or on race day.
