Wy’East Trailfest
Wy’east Trailfest is a premier mountain trail running event held at Mt. Hood Meadows in Oregon, showcasing the alpine terrain of Mt. Hood, also known as Wy’east.
The festival features a range of races over two days, including challenging courses like a 50-mile point-to-point race with over 10,000 feet of elevation gain, a 50K, a 28K loop reaching up to 8,000 feet, and a steep 14K hill climb. On the second day, runners can enjoy more approachable distances such as a half marathon, an 8K loop, and a kids’ race. The event offers stunning volcanic ridgelines, wildflower meadows, waterfalls, and diverse Pacific Northwest trail terrain, complemented by strong community support, aid stations, and a festive post-race celebration at Mt.
