YETI OR NOT Snowshoe Invasion : January 31, 2026

The YETI OR NOT Snowshoe Invasion is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Mountain Creek, 200 Route 94, Vernon, NJ 07462. The event is presented by the Vernon Township Board of Recreation. Participants will ride the cab to the top of the mountain and then use snowshoes for the course. The event is open to runners and walkers, including people trying snowshoes for the first time. BYOS - bring your own shoes.

Event format and logistics

The event offers a choice of a longer ridge course and a shorter final-mile option that is not timed. Registration has an early base fee of $25 if completed by December 31, 2025; registration after that date is $30. Registration and check-in take place in the Biergarten at Mountain Creek's Red Tail Lodge, and a lift will carry participants to the mountain top before the event.
