York White Rose Run
The York White Rose Run 5 Miler, held in York, Pennsylvania, is the region’s oldest running event, celebrating its 48th running in 2025. Established in 1977, this family-friendly race attracts over 800 runners, including elite athletes and Olympians from multiple countries. Managed by the York Road Runners Club, the event welcomes participants of all abilities.
The race course runs through the streets of York City, with an updated route pending city approval for 2025. A virtual race option is available throughout September, allowing runners to complete five miles anywhere. Volunteers are also encouraged to support the event, which benefits Bell Socialization Services, a local nonprofit aiding community members.
