Event details
The Zombie Fun Run takes place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Cedarville, AR (9500 Pirates Point, 72932). The event offers the following distances and entry fees:
- 5k : $25
- 1 mile : $20
Registration for both events closes on October 24, 2025, at 10:00 pm CDT.
Format and awards
The 5k course is on the campus of Cedarville Schools. The 5k includes two designated "infected zones" and the 1 mile includes one designated "infected zone". Participants may walk or run. All participants wear a life belt with flags; volunteers acting as zombies will attempt to remove flags by gently pulling them. A finisher with at least one flag remaining is classified as a "Survivor"; a finisher with no flags is classified as "Infected".
All participants receive a medal at the finish. Additional awards are given to the fastest male and female in the 5k and to the male and female with the most remaining flags. All proceeds support the Cedarville Basketball Program. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
