Zombie Run - Wilmington

Zombie Run - Wilmington is a cinema-inspired 5K survival race at Long Leaf Park, Shelters 5 and 6 (314 Pine Grove Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409). The event features a 5K Zombie Run and a Monster Mile (1 mile) family-friendly option, weaving through movie-themed scare zones and on-course surprises drawn from Wilmington’s horror history. Runners dodge zombies and try to keep life flags; the first 50 finishers with at least one flag earn a Survivor Medal, and the first 100 survivors receive a Zombie Survivor Medal.

Dress is encouraged—costume contests and photo ops abound, plus a Monster Mile trick-or-treat route. Proceeds support Lyceum Academy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
