3 Legged Monster Race
The 3 Legged Monster Race, held in the Mark Twain National Forest near Steelville and Leasburg, Missouri, is a unique relay event featuring running, mountain biking, and paddling legs for teams of two. The race showcases the scenic Ozark Trail, with running through hardwood forests and bluff overlooks, mountain biking on an IMBA "epic" trail with diverse terrain, and paddling along crystal-clear creeks and the Meramec River. Participants can choose between a short course (7-mile run, 11-mile bike, 12-mile paddle) or a long course (13-mile run, 30-mile bike, 12-mile paddle).
