9/11 Never Forget Trail Run/Walk

The 9/11 Never Forget Trail Run/Walk 5k in Brighton, Michigan is organized by Livingston County Veteran Services, First Responders, and Howell Recreation. In its third year, the event takes place at Fillmore County Park in Brighton and features a 5K trail course that is not stroller-friendly and not paved. All participants receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Livingston County Veteran Services.

The race is timed by the Michigan Running Foundation, using chip timing. The event honors those who lost their lives on 9/11 as well as military veterans and first responders who served after the attack. Service dogs only. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
