Course, logistics and awards
The course runs along Wilson Lake Parkway and includes hilly terrain. Roads will be closed for the event with coordination from Lake County, the City of Groveland, and local police. The 10K includes a section of hard-packed off-road terrain that will remain open to cars but will be clearly marked. There are water stops on the course, including one near mile 4 for 10K participants.
All participants receive a chip-timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a post-race snack and beverage. Packet pickup is available at Dash Sports in Downtown Clermont on the two days before the race and at the race venue morning of the event; virtual packets are shipped after the event. Awards are given by category for both distances and by age groups; awards must be picked up at the ceremony.
