The Arny Johnson run/walk is an annual road and trail event held in Loves Park, Illinois, with the start and finish at Zenith Park Way Trail Head (5451 Zenith Pkwy, Loves Park, IL 61111). The event is presented as the 39th annual edition and includes multiple race distances.

Course, logistics and awards
Both races follow the Willow Creek Path and enter Rock Cut State Park. The 10-mile course has three water stops; runners pass a stop near the dam twice and another where the paved path crosses the road near the park north entrance. The Willow Creek Path is narrow, so strollers and pets are not allowed.
Early packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Fire Department Coffee, 811 W Riverside Blvd, Rockford, IL. Race day packet pickup is at Zenith Park Way Trail Head. Race day sign-up is available for a stated higher fee. The event supports the Fire Department Coffee Foundation. Age group awards are offered for 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and then in five-year increments up to 100+. First place male and female receive an on-site ceremony soon after they finish; other awards are available at the awards table and will not be mailed.
