Art Car IPA 5K

Event overview

The Art Car IPA 5K presented by the University of Houston Downtown is scheduled for April 12, 2026 in Houston at Saint Arnold Brewing Company. The event centers on a 5K run and a post-race party. The race ties to the brewery’s Art Car IPA beer, which debuted in August 2015 and was inspired by hand-painted Art Cars and local artists. The event program includes pre-race social runs and a post-race party.

Race options and what is included

There are two event options:

• Art Car IPA 5K (includes the Beer & Party Pass)
• Art Car IPA Beer & Party Pass (does not include the run)

Race registration lists a gender-specific dry fit shirt, a finisher medal, a finisher pint glass and a choice of three Saint Arnold beverages. The Beer & Party Pass option includes the finisher pint glass, three Saint Arnold beverages and party access but does not include race entry. The Beer & Party Pass is noted as open to ages 21 to 99.
