Assault on Yonah Mountain
Assault on Yonah Mountain is a one-way uphill running/hiking/ruck event on Yonah Mountain near Cleveland, Georgia. The course runs about 2.5 miles from the bottom to the summit, gaining roughly 1,650 feet. It features three ascent sections with rocky and gravel terrain, including a 35% grade just below the old heli pad.
The time is taken from bottom to top only; once at the summit, participants can hike or jog back down at their own pace. A ruck division is available with minimum weights. All finishers receive a medal; top three men and women earn custom awards.
