Atlantic City Marathon
The Atlantic City Marathon, established in 1958, is the third oldest continuous marathon in the United States and a USATF certified Boston qualifier. Held annually in October in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the event features multiple race distances including a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K, along with combination challenges like the King Neptune Challenge. The fast, flat course offers runners eight miles along the scenic oceanfront Boardwalk and passes through Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, and Longport, showcasing casinos, marina districts, and charming beach towns.
The marathon is an RRCA New Jersey Championship and part of the Abbott World Major Age Group Championship series. Runners enjoy a festive atmosphere with amenities such as a beer garden and expo. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
