Atlantic City Marathon
New Jersey's historic Atlantic City Marathon, established in 1958, is the third oldest continuously run marathon in the United States. The events include Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K, plus King Neptune Challenges pairing distances. The fast, flat course winds around Absecon Island through Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, and Longport, with eight miles of oceanfront Boardwalk running and a finish on the Boardwalk.
The race is USATF-certified as a Boston Qualifier and Abbott World Majors Age Group Championship Qualifier, RRCA New Jersey Championship, and draws a vibrant seaside atmosphere. Amenities include expo packet pickup, pacers for both distances, a finish-line beer garden, and race-day perks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
