Event overview
The Austin Spartan Race weekend takes place May 16-17, 2026 at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas. The venue includes over 62 miles of terrain that wind through Texas Hill Country with granite outcrops, rolling hills, dry creek beds, wildflower fields, and cactus. Obstacles include Atlas Carry (100 lb/45 kg stone for men, 75 lb/35 kg for women), A-Frame Cargo, barbed wire crawl, fire jump, inverted wall, bucket carry, Hercules Hoist, multi-rig, 16 ft / 4.8 m rope climb, sandbag carry (60 lb for men, 40 lb for women), slip wall with mud pits, spear throw at 25 ft / 7.6 m, and walls ranging from 4 to 8 ft.
