Baldface Scramble

The Baldface Scramble is a challenging trail running event held in the White Mountain National Forest in Chatham, New Hampshire. It offers two race distances: a 14K single loop that crosses the Baldfaces, and a more demanding 29K course featuring two loops that include both the Baldfaces and Mount Meader. Runners experience steep ledges, panoramic views, and technical single-track trails.

The race starts and finishes at Baldface Farm off Route 113, with aid stations available for the longer course. Mandatory gear includes fluids, food, a windbreaker, and an emergency blanket due to variable mountain weather. The event concludes with a festive gathering at the finish line.
