Race the Cog

Race The Cog is a unique mountain footrace held at the Mount Washington Cog Railway in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. Participants race alongside the historic cog railway tracks to the summit of Mount Washington, covering a challenging 2.75-mile course with a 3,500-foot elevation gain. The route features steep grades, including the notorious Jacobs Ladder at 37%, and technical boulder fields typical of the Presidential Range.

Weather conditions can vary dramatically from warm at the base to snowy and windy at the summit.
