About the race
Randolph Ramble is a 5.7-mile trail race on Randolph Mountain Club lands in New Hampshire’s Northern Presidentials. The course climbs about 1,100 feet and is steep, rocky, and slippery, with occasional snow; most runners walk or power-hike the technical sections. Expect leafy downhills to be treacherous, so trail shoes with good traction are recommended.
The last mile includes a couple of stream crossings, so be prepared for wet feet. The route is marked with red tape and a course map is provided, with a printed RMC Trail Map available for purchase. Proceeds support the Randolph Mountain Club, which maintains over 100 miles of trails, cabins, and shelters. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
