About the race
Blackout 5k/10k is a nighttime mountain race at Cranmore Resort in North Conway, NH. It offers 5K and 10K routes that traverse a mix of ski trails and access roads. The course is lit with reflective flags and LED lanterns, and headlamps are mandatory for runners (with additional headlamps available for purchase).
The race-day atmosphere blends rugged mountain terrain with a glow-in-the-dark experience, followed by pizza and apres. As part of the ongoing Blackout Mountain Race series, maps are provided and the course may change based on conditions. Volunteer opportunities are available for those who wish to assist.
