Bayou City Classic 10K & 5K Fun Run : overview
The Bayou City Classic 10K & 5K Fun Run will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in downtown Houston at Hermann Square (900 Bagby St), adjacent to City Hall. The event is the 49th running and includes road race and wheelchair divisions. The event description identifies it as family-friendly and all-inclusive; wheelchair and pushrim participants are welcomed.

Organization, features and registration
The race is organized by the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA), an all-volunteer 501(c)(3). Proceeds are donated to the Houston Parks & Recreation Department and other charities that support the running community; the race has donated over $250,000 to parks in the previous eight years. Event features listed by organizers include a costume "Centipede" contest and a post-race party with food and beverages. Volunteers receive a Bayou City Classic tech shirt; HARRA members receive VVIP points and volunteering counts for Ironfoot awards.
