'Be A Light' 5K Mental Health Awareness Fun Run

The 'Be A Light' 5K Mental Health Awareness Fun Run is an event aimed at promoting mental health awareness and education in the community. Scheduled for May 10, 2025, in Farley, Iowa, the event features a Kids 1-mile Fun Run for children twelve and under, as well as a 5K walk or run and a fun walk, allowing participants to engage at their own pace. Proceeds from the event will support suicide prevention training and mental health resources in the area, addressing the critical need for mental health outreach in rural communities.
