Mines Of Spain Trail Races

The Mines of Spain Trail Races, held at the EB Lyons Nature Center in Dubuque, Iowa, offer 4-mile, 7-mile, and half marathon trail runs through scenic and challenging terrain. Participants experience diverse trails including dirt single and double tracks, prairie grass paths, rocky technical sections, and rolling hills with bluff views of the Mississippi River. The event emphasizes environmental sustainability with cup-free racing, local food and beer, and shuttle services to reduce parking congestion.
