Galena 5k Stair Challenge

The Galena 5k Stair Challenge, held in Galena, Illinois, is a unique running event honoring 9/11 heroes and local first responders. Hosted by the Galena Area EMS District, Police, and Fire Departments, it features a competitive 5K Stair Challenge race consisting of seven laps, professionally timed with age and gender divisions. There is also a non-competitive 1-lap fun run/walk where participants can dress as their favorite hero.
