Event details
Bearathlon 2025 is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Berkeley Marina in Berkeley, CA 94720. The event includes both solo and team formats and offers Open Age Group and Collegiate divisions. Registration is open until and on race day.
Race formats and distances
- Draft-Legal Sprint - 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
- Classic Sprint - non-draft, 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
- Classic Relay - team of three; 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run.
- Mixed Team Relay - four-person teams; 250 m swim, 5 km bike, 1 km run.
- 5K Run - 5 km run.
Age minimums by event: Draft-Legal 16+, Classic Sprint and Classic Relay 13+, Mixed Team Relay 15+, 5K Run 7+. Registration deadlines and fees are listed per event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
