Beat the Manure 5K

The Beat the Manure 5K is a running event held at the Guilford Fairgrounds in Guilford, Vermont. The race features a challenging hilly loop course that includes a mix of paved roads, dirt roads, and trails, with a total elevation gain of 226 feet. The first half of the course is mostly uphill, while the second half is predominantly downhill, culminating in a fun and fast finish.

Prizes are awarded to top overall male and female finishers as well as age group winners. Uniquely, the last finisher receives a bag of local composted horse manure, adding a playful twist to the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
