All runners receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, a custom tasting glass, and access to unlimited tasting at the post-run festival. Beat the Beast is a beer mile that combines running one mile with consuming four 12-oz beers; a designated "beast" competes and can eliminate participants. An afternoon Shindig at Clandestine Brewing includes music, food trucks, games, a first beer with ticketed entry, and the Beermazing Race visiting several brewers to collect clues.
