Belleville Main Street Marathon
The Belleville Main Street Marathon, held annually in historic Belleville, Illinois, offers both a full marathon and a half marathon along America's longest Main Street. The full marathon is a USATF-certified Boston Marathon-qualifying course featuring about 16 miles on city streets and 10 miles on a paved biking/walking trail. The half marathon runs entirely on city streets.
The event is known for enthusiastic community support, frequent water and Gatorade stations, and a festive post-race party with local refreshments. Organized by the Belleville Running Club and Toolen's Running Start, proceeds benefit local parks and recreation. The race welcomes runners of all levels and includes awards across various age groups. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
