About the race
The Snakebite is a scenic trail running event held at McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. Offering 10K and 20K distances, the course features gently rolling hills and is approximately 95% on trails, providing a fast yet enjoyable desert running experience. Participants can expect a friendly atmosphere with great volunteer support, followed by food and socializing.
The Snakebite is also the final race in the McDowell Mountain Cup series, which includes other trail races in the area. Early bird registration is available, and race-day sign-ups are possible at packet pickup, making it accessible for trail running enthusiasts.
