Snakebite is scheduled for March 1, 2026, at McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. The course is almost entirely on trails, with about 95% trail surface and gently rolling hills. Volunteers support the event on course and at aid points.

Series and registration
Snakebite is race number 3 and the final event in the McDowell Mountain Cup series. The series includes the Pemberton Trail (50K or 25K) on Jan. 24 and the Stoneman Trail (14K) on Feb. 7. Runners may choose either the longer or shorter distances at Pemberton Trail and Snakebite to be eligible for the Cup.
Registration details noted by the organizer: early bird pricing applies through Nov. 30; runners who register by Dec. 10 are guaranteed a race shirt; race-day registration is available at the packet pickup table.
